Julián Pérez de la Torre is a lighting designer. His work includes Syntro.phi’s intervention at the Invernadero de Arganzuela for La Sub25, part of 21Distritos, now presented through Immersive Stage. With Madrid Produce, he contributes to Carmina Burana, the closing event of Veranos de la Villa 2022, and Zarzuela Monumental Retiro, which closed San Isidro 2023.[1][2][4]

For Carmina Burana, the Alfonso XII monument became part of the staging for the Coro Nacional de España, conducted by Miguel Ángel García Cañamero. The municipal press release of 24 August 2022 explicitly credits Julián Pérez as the lighting designer for a production tailored to the site. The concert took place on 28 August in the version for choir, two pianos and percussion.[3]

For Zarzuela Monumental Retiro, he designs the lighting for the San Isidro 2023 presentation, commissioned from Madrid Produce at the same architectural site. Music and projection mapping extend the relationship with the monument and with the audience gathered around the lake. His credit applies to this presentation at El Retiro.[4]

At the Invernadero de Arganzuela, he designs the lighting for an artistic project by Syntro.phi for La Sub25, part of 21Distritos. The intervention was created before Immersive Stage was established and is now presented through the platform. A film from Madrid Produce’s archive documents the project; its authorship and historical context have been confirmed by the production team.[1][6]
