Felipe Giuliano trained in Fine Arts at the University of Seville. His move into film and stage work grew out of creating digital backgrounds for La flauta mágica, in productions by Eugenio Zanetti. The FILMETS dossier identifies this experience as one of the foundations of his later filmmaking: an attention to atmosphere and to the world built around the characters.[1]
In 2021, Gallo Rojo in Seville presented his installation Driftwood Humans, addressing migration and displacement. It brought together sculpture, digital art prints, video art, presence sensors and recorded testimonies from migrants. The project received support through the ICAS 2020 call. The relationship between object, image and visitor was already integral to the work.[2]
In film, he directs El vals sin nombre, a fantasy short produced by Madrid Produce and The Other Film Production. FILMETS programmed it in 2024, drawing attention to its period setting and its gothic, dreamlike atmosphere. The film traces that same interest in space through another medium: sets and visual effects take an active part in the storytelling.[6][1]
In 2025, he was artistic director of Zarzuela Monumental Hispanidad, presented in San Lorenzo de El Escorial. In this Madrid Produce production, lyrical repertoire enters into dialogue with architecture and Pedro Giuliano’s projection mapping, with Bruno G. Arantes as producer.[5][10]
In 2025, he was part of the audiovisual development team for Pagliacci at the Teatro del Bicentenario in San Juan, alongside Arantes, Djalal Dufetelle and Pedro Giuliano. The Teatro Colón introduces him as an art director and visual designer whose practice spans opera, theatre, live music and installations. This background helps explain his approach to immersive creation: images are conceived at the scale of the stage.[4][3]
